Nutaresta cares greatly about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Nutaresta. The effective date of these terms and conditions is 03/08/2018. With the publication of a new version, all previous versions become invalid. This privacy policy describes what information we collect about you, what this information is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your information, how we protect your information from misuse, and what rights you have with regard to the personal information you provide to us.

About data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), what security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.

Web store software

Shopify

Our webshop has been developed using Shopify software. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, but they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group in order to further improve its services. Shopify complies with the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, your data may be processed in the United States.

Web hosting

Strato

We purchase web hosting and email services from Strato. Strato processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Strato has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Strato is bound by a confidentiality agreement.

Email and mailing lists

MailChimp

Our website uses MailChimp, a third party that handles email traffic from our website and sends any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via MailChimp's servers. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website, you will see an “unsubscribe” link. If you click on this link, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This may seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties in this context.

Strato

We use the services of Strato for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Strato does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Mollie

We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address, and place of residence, as well as your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data for longer than is permitted by law.

Reviews

WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to ask for clarification of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They will only use this information for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing its services, for which we have given WebwinkelKeur permission. Shipping and logistics

PostNL

When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary that we share your name, address, and place of residence with PostNL. PostNL will only use this information for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

Kleisteen

We use the services of Kleisteen to maintain our administration and accounting. We share your name, address, and place of residence details and details relating to your order. This data is used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data will be sent and stored securely. Kleisteen is bound by a confidentiality agreement and will treat your data confidentially. Kleisteen will not use your personal data for any purposes other than those described above.

External sales channels

Bol.com

We sell (some of) our items via the Bol.com platform. If you place an order via this platform, Bol.com will share your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of the processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you have given us. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date, other than at your request, we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Data collected automatically by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

In certain cases, Nutaresta may be required by law to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such cases, we are obliged to share your data, but we will oppose this to the extent permitted by law.

Retention periods

We will retain your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we will retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in connection with your assignment.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you, as a data subject, have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below, we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them.

In principle, to prevent misuse, we will only send copies and copies of your data to your email address already known to us.

You always have the right to restrict the data we process (or have processed) that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.

If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address we have on file that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to data portability

You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relate to you or can be traced back to you, processed by another party. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf to the email address we have on file. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing our services in such a case, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Cookies

Google

Cookies from the American company Google are placed on our website as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required to provide access to this data under applicable laws and regulations. We collect information about your surfing behavior and share this data with Google. Google may interpret this information in conjunction with other data sets and thus track your movements on the internet. Google uses this information to offer targeted advertisements (Adwords) and other Google services and products.

Third-party cookies

In order to provide you with even better information about products and information on our website, we use a Facebook Pixel (Marketing Cookie). This allows us to store the surfing behavior of visitors to our website. We may use this information for (re)marketing purposes. We store this data for a maximum of 6 months (180 days).
